How does iCloud Sync work?

iCloud Sync is enabled by default. As long as you are signed in to your Apple ID and have iCloud Drive enabled (Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > iCloud Drive), your data will automatically sync across devices.

If sync isn't working, please check your internet connection or check the status under 'Settings > iCloud Sync' in the app.

Will I lose my data if I change phones?

No. All your data (including images) is stored in your private iCloud container. Just sign in with the same Apple ID on your new phone, download WuNian, and your data will be restored automatically.

How to restore purchases?

Go to the 'Settings' page in the app and tap 'Restore Purchase'. If you have already purchased, this process is free.

Is my data safe/private?

Absolutely. WuNian follows a "Local First" strategy. Your data lives only on your device and your personal iCloud storage. We do not have any servers to store your notes, so even the developer cannot see your private data.

How can I export my data?

Go to 'Settings > Data Export' to export your data as an HTML file. This file includes all text, images, and statistics, and can be viewed in any web browser.
